My Plex Server has stated having an issue where it’s not recording the full show it’s scheduled to. Some shows record in full, but I’d say about 85% record something between 3 and 20 min (for programs that are at least 30min). More testing is required, but it also looks like the longer the show, the more likely this issues is to happen. I’m behind in watching my recording, so I would say this have been going on for at least a week.
Just recently I set a few 1+ hour shows to record and I checked on the progress periodically. By my first check in, less then 15min after the recording started and with more then half remaining, the show had the “play” arrow in the recoding schedule and linked me to an fully analyzed show with correct metadata but what was only a few min long. Upon reviewing the show files, they were fraction of the size of comparable full recording. That said, they play just fine.
I have been converting a lot of video files with MCEBuddy in the background. Could this have something to do with both programs both dong a lot of simultaneous work on temp file on my hard drive? My computer have the CPU (i5 3.2ghz) and RAM (8gig) to handled both things at once.
Any help of insight would me much appreciated.

I also have another PMS that runs idle as a back up (no scheduled recordings or other tasks ). Unlike my primary machine, this is a Mac. For the heck of it, I set this machine to preforms some similar recordings to see if it’s my server or the tuner. After a few hours of recording on the Mac PMS, I’ve encountered no issues like with my PC.
I am having this issue too. I can use the HDHomerun app to watch TV live and there doesn’t seem to be any noticeable drops, but when it goes to record I get those 9 min videos. The last time I was able to record something in its entirety was 13 days ago. I attempt multiple recordings a day.

Same issue here. I’m not happy. I have a hard time believing it’s a signal issue because I’ve had other OTA DVR systems that worked fine (same antenna).
Perusing the forums makes me think this is a widespread problem. Is there a plan to fix this?
