People. PLEASE UPDATE FFS. uninstall 3744 – KEEP EXISTING Install 3870 you won’t lose anything. Synology changed the numbering after 3744. 3870 contains the numbering change.

Can I simply update the new version in the package manager or do I have to pay attention to something?

yes. Everything is preserved. What you’re getting in this update over that of 3744 is the core PMS updated to 1.211 as well. It will contain PMS hot fixes. I don’t delete anything during “Keep”. I only remove the package (like the DSM 6 days)
