i am using Nasready server - and Sony android TV- i do NOT have plex pass
the video streaming works really well and have no problem
however i am having issue when it comes watching Photo from library the photos takes for ever to load - the loading circle keeps spinning
i have compared it with Kodi and it loads photos really quick
Does it eventually load or it never finishes loading? If it fails to load, is the file > 100MB? Plex by default limits photos to 100MB. There is an advanced setting to increase that threshold.

i can know how to work with PC but i would need an idiot guide getting into Hidden Menu
my photos have folders with in folder - what would be the best setting for photo from 100mb
each photos are an average of 5 and 10MB and average folder size is 300gb
At the momment due this issue
i am playing HD movies with PLEX it work amazing
and KODI for photo - it handled it much smoother
i rather have PLEX do both - any help will be appreciated -

I’m not a NAS person so my info will be sort of generic. You will need to look up specific.
On a NAS, the preferences are in a file names preferences.xml. You will need to find this in the Plex installation folder on your NAS. I think you need to use SSH to get to it, unless you have some graphical UI available to you. You open that file in a text editor and find that setting. If that setting isn’t listed, you’ll need to add it. Just copy how the rest of the settings look and add it the same way.
