on the android app and on the web version my photos are grouping all strange and many show up out of order, that could be due to the file time stamps but what is not a file issue is photos taken same day show up on different tiles:
It seams that Plex Timeline mess is a old bug on Plex that was never solved.
I’ve started using Plex for photos recently. So first step was to add some photos just for testing and I noticed this problem. After some googling I found out that one solution was to delete all library, empty the trash, and then add all folders again. Not a problem since I had only two folders with less than 1000 photos, and I hadn’t spent my time creating albuns or tagging.
I did all that and it solved for me, at that time.
Just to find out today (about two/threee weeks later) that the problem is back
