On my Dangbei N2 Mini (projector, shows as unknown in tautuli but has worked fine for months) files that played fine just a couple of weeks agi are now failing to start with error: ‘Playback Error An Unexpected playback problem occured.’
I have tried factory resetting the projector and reinstalling the plex server on my mac, I have also cleared the codec folder in my Mac server’s Application Support folder.
If I force direct play on the device the files do play, however its a dual audio file, it only plays the alternative audio and it will not show subtitles. Some transcoding does work, as other files are able to play in the transcoding status. I have plex premium and hardware transcoding is enabled.
Both apps are fully up to date and I cannot see anything helpful in the server logs, but I’m not overly sure which to look in. happy to attach them.
