Playback Error, LiveTV & DVR, Cannot view any TV Channels on PMS hosting computer

Server Version#: 1.18.4.2171
Player Version#: No Idea, how do you find it?

Windows 10, latest updates
Lenovo G780 laptop
WinTV -dualHD Dual Tuner USB

I cannot view any live TV programs or recorded programs on my PMS Windows laptop.
No matter what channel I try this is what happens.
I get the same result in trying to view a recorded program.

I can record and watch on all my remote TVs using Apple TV.
I can also watch LiveTV on my remotes, but not on the laptop that hosts PMS.
Although it seems to indicate it will play is this maybe normal behavior?

Thanks, Fred

Are you trying to watch Live TV through the web browser?

If so, what happens if you try the Plex for Windows desktop app?

Yes, that is what I am trying to do.
I am logged into FireFox and PMS at 127.0.0.1…
I only found this because I am trying to troubleshoot why some of my programs are not recording.
This computer is dedicated to PMS, essentially not used for anything else.
I suspect this is normal behavior and I stumbled onto it by mistake and thought it was an error.
Is this “My Bad”?

Well, that’s an entirely different issue. Please clarify if you want to solve live viewing or recording on your laptop. If the former, then please install the app per my post above.

If the latter, you will need to provide logs that cover the time of a failed recording.

Since this is the server computer, I do not want to solve the live viewing problem.
This was a red herring, it is my bad and the post can be blown away IMO.

I do want to solve the failed recording and have a post from six days ago.

" Livetv-dvr does not record one particular show"

It has screen shots, a snippet of one log. but not complete logs. That program is set to record tonight and I can post more information, with logs, etc. if it doesn’t record.

If you could look at that post I would really appreciate it. Give me about 15 minutes before you do, because I think I might have found a clue.

Thanks, Fred
