When PlexMediaServer can’t see into a folder on a Synology NAS, it’s because it doesn’t have permission to (Linux is strict about enforcing permissions)
ALSO, I advise extreme caution about having the PlexMediaServer shared folder network mounted on your computer.
DSM 7 PlexMediaServer is fragile. You can easily break Plex if you do anything in there incorrectly (modify permissions, use a Windows Text Editor on a Linux text file, etc)
You’re safer and better off using the Synology FileStation and Text Editor
