I’m getting an error “An error occurred loading items to play.” Its also happening to my friend that uses my server. Its hosted on unraid.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is br0 on a DHCP address or static?
Is br0’s physical adapter wired or wifi ?
If DHCP, check the lease time
If WiFi, verify it’s not falling out of the SSID. (servers are best wired)
Br0 is set as a static IP on my router and within unraid. My plex container in docker is set to host if that matters.
My server is on wired.
Not sure if this is related but I also can’t access my router thats in bridge mode on 192.168.1.254. I still have internet and everything seems to work other than plex

Docker container being “host” mode makes sense. The container will use the LAN IP of the unraid machine.
There’s something wrong here .. either configuration or how you’re describing it.
Once your router is in bridge mode, it only has the reserved Management IP address. The normal 192.168.1.254 (router IP) won’t exist.
My ISP router is in bridge mode. My router is the WAN → LAN NAT (it establishes my 192.168.0.x LAN subnet)
As IPv4, you should have similar given you’re also using RFC-1918 addressing (192.168.x.x)
Sorry. I have my isp router in bridge and use a UniFi router instead. I’ve since read it’s normal not to be able to access your router in 192.168.1.254 when it’s in bridge mode.
Also interesting enough is infuse works just fine.
Infuse is a completely different type of player.
Infuse only needs access to the source media. It does everything else itself. This is known as a ‘Thick Client’ implementation.
Plex, on the other hand, is a Server-Client implementation. The server does all the heavy lifting. The client’s only job is to display the stream sent to it. Server-Client puts the bulk of the processing load on the server.

Those logs are showing me that, for some reason, the adapter keeps “flapping”.
(down-up-down-up action). Every time this happens, PMS resets any connections. This will prevent anything from playing.
To confirm: Static IP for the Unraid machine is actual Static (manual) set IP and not a DHCP reservation in the UniFi ?
Stupid question: ANY chance the ethernet cable could have issue on the Unraid machine? PMS will not tolerate flapping where NFS/SMB (infuse) will tolerate it better"
I believe I had a fixed IP set on my router and unraid. I’ve removed it from my router and just left it on unraid. I will try and new Ethernet cable and if that doesn’t fix it I actually have a second nic that I can try on my server. I have a 2.5g and a 1g.

I swapped ethernet cable sand swapped my NIC to the onboard one. I had my static ip through DHCP reservation previously. I changed it to manual in unraid. I uploaded new logs.
A friend of mine that uses my server says its occasionally been working for him even though theres no history of it on my end. on the plex history I don’t see anything from him before may 24th.

Alright. I turned off Ipv6. This weekend I’ll update my server and see what happens.
I’m having a similar issue, but I don’t see anything in the logs. Any chance you could take a look and see if you can spot anything I missed?
Ivp6 is off and after updating to the newest unraid I’m have the same problem.

You have a lot of subnets. That makes everything appear remote (WAN).
If/When you can – Simpler (Flatter) networking is better.
e.g. you can keep the same numbering – make the subnet mask wider
Ponder it.
Can’t tell what that connects to given the amount of traffic having rolled over the logs

The playback error is immediate. The second I click on play its like its not even trying. But I did click on them. I had 2 tv episodes that are “gloves are off” so I tried both.
I requested Plex/web.
