I was wondering if you could help me with a few issues I am experiencing regarding playback issues with Plex on Xbox One.
When I try to fast forward or rewind a video. The video skips 10 Minutes at a time. This can become very frustrating. Is there a way to fix this?
TV Episodes do not appear in the correct order such as Episode 1, Episode 2 & Episode 3. Instead they appear as Episode 12, Episode 4 & Episode 7. They also don’t appear with there Titles or Episode numbers and so I have to hover over a video and click on “More” and “File Info” to find the correct episode number…
The image quality has also suffered. It is blocky, loss of sharpness and reduced depth to the image.
I don’t personally test on Xbox so not sure of issues there.
Regarding Fast Forward. afaik pressing up/down on D-pad skips 10 min and left right should do 10 seconds.
Are you viewing the season page or the recently added row? the RA row will puts the in order added not number. Are other clients correct?
Check the home and remote quality setting. Depending on your network if it thinks it is remote it might use the remote quality setting which defaults to a somewhat low bitrate as to not take up all bandwidth or accidentally use up all the bandwidth of a metered connection ( folks with caps)

I am now experiencing a different issue. Many epsisode that I have added to the Plex media folder from WDMyCloud do not seem to be appearing on the Xbox Plex App. I belevie they are the same file type. So some episodes can been seen and some other do not appear.
Sorry it has taken so long to reply. I have been finding it very difficult to locate this support page. They do not show on the Plex website. But they do appear on My Cloud Home - Plex. The episodes also seem to be missing all of there titles and episode numbers. I seem to be having to correct this information myself which is taking many hours to correct.
