Playback limited after one month plex pass is canceled

Playback I limit error after paying for plex pass for 1 month and only watching 1 movie and 1 tv show on my ipad. How can this be resolved?

Pay for the app as a one-time in-app purchase. Or use it to cast to TV or other device.

I was under the impression that if you are using the plex pass and download and use the app that is the one time purchase.

That is how you deal with having multiple devices is it not?

no the plex pass gives you access to all the app features, but if you no longer have plex pass then the app returns back to default state.

Sadly, no. You need to purchase the app for each mobile OS. However, it’s a one-time payment. All it does, though, is unlock full playback.

As stated above… mobile apps require activation. This can be done in two ways:

  • via one-time in-app purchase (linked to the app store account)
  • activation is included in an active Plex Pass membership

Plex pass was active when it was used. That is the problem and i don’t see any way of reporting this issue other than these forums.

If this crap defaults back to a locked app after the plex pass is canceled that is crap and needs to be fixed. The plex pass is not worth the trouble. I only purchased this again since i didn’t want my adult children having access to my main account which i have a lifetime membership for years now.

I’m not sure I can follow you.
Is that the same issue or some more general rant (no offense)?
