@tw31ve - Just for clarity, is it only DVB playback or all playback?. For example, have you tested playback from files that have not been captured from you homerun device?
Live DVB playback and recordings, I donāt have any other content yet to test as I primarily bought in to Plex to get TV around the house without installing more aerials!
In that case just a friendly heads up. Your issue may or may not be related to this topic (without knowing for certain if non-dvb files are also affected) and your issue may get lost in the noise of this one.

I kept the Android client version the same but reverted the server version back to 1.18.9.2571.
I did this because I also noticed a total failure on my old LG NetCast based TV. Going back fixed this (started a sep topic on that). And therefore I tested the Android TV and didnāt have the usual killed stream as reported originally.
So having reverted the server to the previous version (above post), I now reverted the Android TV app to 7.30.2.16712 which I believe it the previous version to whatās currently on the play store and Iām having no playback issues.
My Sony Android TV (unlike my Samsung Galaxy S9+ which runs the latest Android version) is currently on Android 7.0 and the last patch dates back to May2019. Yes Sony are pathetic in keeping their products up to date.
Can you Devs see what has changed in between the current Android code and the previous version to see why streams randomly drop after about 15-20 mins playback and no resume data is reported back to the server (meaning you must restart from scratch)?
When I first started this thread, both Mobile/TV were affected on an older version of the client and the problem was slightly difference (as per the title description). Now the video just stops completely (just on TV). And Iām wondering if Android 7 vs Android 10 might have something to do with it?
Can you provide some logs, please? Iāve tried, and canāt replicate this on my own server, with my Sony Android TV, or Nvidia Shield

It appears the latest version on the Android client for both mobile and TV seems to have resolved thus issue.
I am having the same problem with plex 8.1 for fire stick 4k freezing every 5 to 10 minutes. When playing 4k content. Latest pms and Amazon app store app. I reverted to 7.27.1 and it is playing perfectly. Any idea what is happening and do we have a fix in the works? Thank you.
