Player buffering when there is no more to translate. sub srt

someone who has problems with a stream starting to buffer when there is too long a pause between subtitles.

scenario: watching a series. they talk, the subtitles work as they should. then it becomes a scenario with no dialogue for a while, say like 30-60sec. then plex starts buffering, aslo when im nere the end of a episode it can buffering. checking the log of what is being said. get this up then.

(Delaying subtitle output to wait for video stream to catch up.)

if I disable text, srt sub. I can see the entire episode without a problem.

anyone have any hum what causes this?

PMP on computer works as it should. discovered it on samsung tv at the moment. know there are more devices with the same problem. this applies both locally and remotely.

I have the same problem, always starts buffering near the end of movies or episodes.

Unfortunately I have not heard from plex again and the issue remains. :frowning:
It has to be a bug related to subtitles. If you turn them off it ‘fixes’ the problem.
