As reported, dnd works on Chrome but not on Firefox.
Using Firefox 55 under Ubuntu 17.04.
More description needed. What happens when you try?
I’m having issues with not even being able to drag to reorder items in my playlists at all when using Chrome. I can grab an item in my list but when I let go of the mouse button it just goes back to where it started. I can’t reorder any item. Note this playlist also has over 300 items in the list.
Side note: Dragging a new item to the top is a terrible UI experience. It would be so useful if we could click the number next to an item and type in “1” and it moves into the “1” position while moving everything else down 1 position. Please add this feature!
Amazing to me too and a year later Firefox still does not work… is there some place you “lobby” to get things fixed?
Dragging and dropping to reorder a playlist does work in Firefox.
However, you can only reorder a ‘dumb’ playlist.
If you have a ‘smart’ playlist, it will continue to use the ordering which was used when it was created.
A ‘smart’ playlist is created from filter criteria and will update itself dynamically. It is signified by a small ‘cog wheel’ icon on top of its thumbnail.
