Plex made a new App for PS4 and after this i cant select subtitle.
i can press the icon left in screen and i see all subtitles available.
when i press a subtitle i can hear the “selecting sound” but the screen never goes back to the movie and the check mark doesn’t move from off.
I usually watch from remote and not my own server.
the issue is at stake no matter what server i use.
2.01 is the platform update not the Plex update. Double check what version you are using? Can you also post a picture, that would help.
Where do i find that and what do you want a picture of?
From within the Plex app, go to settings. At the bottom there should be an option for About and there it will have the version number for the app.
I would like screenshots of the screen with the subtitles that you can’t select.

Ok, that is the subtitles search feature. So when you select one of those files, does the app stop responding totally and you have to exit/reload/reboot it just won’t select the one you want and hit back to go to the previous screen?
There is a new update that just came out a few hours ago. Your TV should automatically load the new version. Give it a try. to double check it should be version 5.4.1.
The new version is installed and i still have the same problem.

Select subtitles/download subtitle
When i select the subtitles with X button i hear the sound from the PlayStation but Plex does not automatically get back to play screen. I have to press O to get back and the Subtitles is not present.
Oh sorry. I thought you were just showing the 2 images to show how you got to the search screen. I was only able to find there was a problem using the search option. I’m not able to see any reported issues of selecting the subtitle with the X button.
I don’t have a PS4 to check but I’ve asked others if they can reproduce.
