It seems that with the new Fast shortcut when going directly to a TV Show it’s broken down into Seasons, while if you enter the same TV Show via the Home Screen it shows as All Episodes.
I prefer the Season breakdown.
This can be adjusted on the server side, manage library->edit->advanced then theres a seasons options based on how you would like to display it.
Now a suggestion for Plex developers, please bring back the “remember last tab used” option, this is very annoying everytime i select a show and it defaults to overview instead of all episodes or last season i was on etc.
Yeah I remember that setting, but without changing anything I see both behaviors.
If I open Plex via the Recently Added TV, the row of posters that comes up when you scroll through your apps, it shows Seasons 1, 2, N.
But if I open Plex normally, and then I go to the same TV Show, it shows All Episodes.
I think it should behave the same, whether I use one way or the other, depending on the setting you mentioned.
Strange, when I apply that setting i immediately notice the change.
I will say this, I have a un55ku6290 and a un65mu8000, both behave differently.
I don’t understand why, I’ve held the back button to ensure app is shut down on both TVs, I have the latest PMS installed. The joy of betas.
