Hello, I hope I’m putting this in the correct category. If not, please move.
I’ve been dabbling with my Plex server for a while on my Win10 PC but decided to get more serious with a media server. So I moved my media files to an Ubuntu computer. As I had not really ever done anything serious with it, I didn’t migrate metadata, cache, etc over.
I’m now faced with an issue where my original Win10 iteration of Plex is still expected on my AppleTV Plex app and mobile devices when I sign in. I can get to my “new” Plex by scrolling to the other Plex accounts that I’ve been granted access to and find it there. But I cannot figure out how to make my current one the main one on my account as it is still looking for the old server on my Win10. I’ve logged out and in from all devices and still no luck.
This is all on my home network, hardwired in together.
Any suggestions on how to get my account to “forget” the original server in place of the new one? I’m stumped and in all my searching, I’ve not found anything that addresses this issue specifically.
Thanks for your reply.
The only server that is there is the new server under “Authorized Devices”. On the host server, it doesn’t have an issue with looking for the old server, but on my other devices it still is looking for the old server as the primary.
