Details, please! e.g. file naming / folder organization within the library folder; any conflicting embedded metadata (with your library configured to prefer local data).

That doesn’t look like the official filename spec for TV shows. /TV Shows/ShowName/Season 02/ShowName – s02e17 – Optional_Info.ext https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/

You’re using a strange numbering system. You are using “Season” numbers with “Absolute” episode numbers. Even if you get it to work, Plex is likely not going to pull in metadata for the episodes. Anyway, have you tried merging the two entries together? [Merge]

No problem. Not sure why Plex was separating out that one episode into another show entirely though.
