The upgrade is not complete until you have performed “Refresh Metadata” for the whole library (and let it run to completion).
Until then, some of the items in your lib are still going to be connected to those old agents and will be throwing that kind of errors into the log.
I’ve run the database scripts from @ChuckPa multiple times and all come back with no errors at all. I’m not saying there isn’t any corruption to your point, but I can’t find it.
For anyone having issues with the Plex Movie or Plex Series agent not working, please restart your server, wait a couple minutes, then try to refresh/match/fix match some things and grab the server logs and attach them here.
There is no backend issue I’m aware of. Nobody internally has reported any issues and I haven’t seen any issues myself so it could be a regional thing or something specific to an ISP or DNS provider. Logs would help isolate things.
Tried changing my DNS provider and checking the DB for corruption but neither made any difference.
Clearing out the codecs folder (after making a backup - just in case) did the trick for me.
Thank you … this resolved the issue I had where the search field stopped working with the Plex Agent. When the Plex server restarted, it download the necessary codec again and installed them.
