For me to trouble shoot any further I would have to update to the latest version again. I realize that downgrading is a temporary fix but I would prefer to stay in this stable configuration until the bugs are worked out of the update.
I am using google DNS servers: DNS Server: 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4
I was able to get matches to work by changing my library settings to a legacy agent and then back to the updated Plex agent. But this was a temporary fix that had to be implemented every time new content was added to the library and per the below forum this is likely to corrupt the library and shouldn’t be implemented.
I did not try to start and stop the server but I assume this would also solve the issue (solution provided by Plex employee in below forum). I see this as another temporary fix however. I don’t want to have to restart the sever every time new content is added to ensure proper functionality.
I experienced the same behavior as the below thread, but I didn’t post there because I am not on Linux hardware.
