Plex Amp on IOS won't work on remote data

I’ve been using Plexamp for a while on an Android phone. It just works, it’s great! Whilst I’m in the house and on wifi, all good, when I go out for a run and the mobile data kicks in, still good - so I know the server is set up alright.

I now want to use the app on an iphone instead, but try as I might, I can’t get it to work on mobile data in the ios version. It works on wifi. I’ve had the two phones alongside each other and checked the settings, line by line, but I can’t find anything different.

Any clues where I should look?

Have you checked the restrictions in the iOS system settings?

e.g. Settings > Applications > Plexamp > Cellular Data or Settings > Cellular Data > Plexamp

If all else fails, post the Plexamp logs after being outside the house and unable to connect. Likely something networking related, or as Tom said, cellular data.
