Player Version#: how to tell?
Two days ago both on fire stick and fire cube, when bringing up the plex app, it gives orange triangle exclamation symbols for each of the categories and even the home items. Many minutes later they might load.
Server and players are all on wired network.
iPad app works fine.
Server is an I7 with 16 go of ram.
I have not made any changes, other than removing some of the recorded content ipusung the add/remove library.
Try resetting the player settings and re-pinning the libraries. I had something similar happen when I upgraded Plex Media Player to the beta version. Possible the Fire TV app updated to the new release that came out this week and it’s having a similar issue.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, no difference. It does eventually load the content after going to the categories and selecting retry.
Fairly sure it is a buggy app update as the app no longer shows the progress bad when pausing a show.
Also both of my Fire devices have the issue but IOS devices, and windows computer do not.
The fire devices and the windows computer all have wired connections and other apps are fine.

I think that’s just how the new player is. I noticed the same thing last night on my limited playing around with the new player and I kinda like that if I want to pause something (to read a subtitle that went by too fast for example) because then the bar/info is not in the way of my view. I don’t have the issues loading/browsing the libraries you’re describing.
I have also just found that the app no longer understands videos that have more than one part. Was rewatching the extended lord of the ring moves and there are two files from the movies. Before it would continue playing from the second file. Now it can not, not even forward to it. On the IOS app it can, so I played from that for a while, and the switched back to the firetrap version app, it was confused and found not continue and marked the whole thing as watched.
That is for sure wrong.
