I brought my Xbox to my parents for the holidays. I have the plex media server running on their computer and I have my library shared with their account. I am signed onto the media server as my Plex Pass account but the app will not find any media servers. I ended up going through the web browser on the Xbox One and that works great but it’s a bit of a pain since I have the app already installed. How do I get the app to see the media server on the same network? Is there a way to force the PIN to connect to it again? Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the app?
Just to check, you’ve signed in with your account on the server and not just the web app? Do you have a green tick on your server remote access settings?
Yes I have the green check for remote access. I have signed into their server with my account. I don’t get any options when I open the app. Just comes up with could not find any servers. I connected through Internet explorer on the Xbox and it works but I can’t get the app to work
Is your server showing up on https://plex.tv/api/resources with a presence="1" attribute?
There are 4 entries. 1 for my parents library and one for mine both with presence of 1 and then 2 more, one for the iOS and one for android and both of those are presence of 0. Here are the device presence with the IP address section removed and the names removed.
I also confirmed if I use the media server app from Xbox it does see the Plex media server so it really is the app it seems. Do I have to enter a new Pin if I connect the xbox to a new network for it to see the media server?

@gdaddyp1 Sorry for taking a while to get back to you. Have you tried signing out of the app and signing back in, making sure to link it to the account that owns the server?
I uninstalled the app and entered a new PIN and it was fine after that
