Not to side track thread, is there any alternatives to plex as an app on the Samsung TV affected if this isn’t fixed
I’m also having the same issue with Plex stuck on the logo screen (starting on 11-23-21)
This effects my Samsung 8 series and 6 series TVs. Plex Media Server and TVs software are all updated to current versions. Hope there is a fix soon. Plex running natively on TV works so much better than on other devises (with TV app not working, I’m running Plex on my Xbox One X — but the video isn’t as smooth).
Ignore, I moved an XB1 on this TV which is working fine with Plex
Works a treat so will be sticking with that for now

We’ve found the problem and working on a fix to get out asap.
Also have the same issue on Samsung TV.
You can go to source in menu on Samsung TV, then choose Plex Media Server and browse folders to play media. Just no nice interface.

The fix is now available on 5.28.2
How soon will it be pushed to the repository to update the Samsung App? Again, thanks to all the team for looking into, and sorting the issue.

i never hat any problems with the plex app on my tv. but now with this version its freezing and lagging. i cant watch my series.
any tips how i can resolve this.
