Hello -
I’ve noticed some funny behavior on my Plex Server. I am running Windows 10 and Plex Server 1.9.6.4401, but this has been happening for the past month or two.
Whenever I load the interface via the local http://127.0.0.1:32400, the same movie always plays automatically. It doesn’t occur if I open https://app.plex.tv/desktop even if it’s on the same computer.
I’m happy to pull some logs if those might helps, but I wasn’t sure if anyone else has experienced this or if it’s a known thing.
Thanks in advance!

Do you call up exactly http://127.0.0.1:32400/web or do you use a bookmark in your browser?
What happens if you click in this very link in here?
It happens when I use the icon Plex adds to the system tray area near the clock. When I double-click the Plex icon, it opens http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html, which causes the movie to start, too. Clicking the link you produced creates the same effect.
Do you use any web browser add-ons which freeze ‘cookies’?
This is th eonly explanation I have: that your web browser was shut down one time during a playback and that this was stored in a cookie somehow. when the web site is reloaded now, it always restores the playback state from back then as well.
The only idea I have is to erase those cookes in the web browser.
Thanks, clearing cookies appears to have resolved it! Hopefully it’ll stay fixed, but at least I know what to do if the issue occurs again.
