Plex can’t find the metadata for one of my movies

it’s a TV Mini Series. You place it in a TV series section.

You have a TV Show library, using the TV agent? You should be able to search by tvdb-84126
but its from the DVD witch is a movie
Is it the mini-series DVD ?
If so, you still need to break it out.

IF this is true, you should find 3 pieces on that DVD set
Each piece should be the length of a TV episode
If you don’t have the media or have one monolithic file,

That’s what I suspected.
When you run MakeMKV against the Disc 1, does it find 2 main files (the bigger ones), with the remaining 2 episodes (piece) on the other Disc ?
You’ll probably have a bunch of extras you can include in a “Specials” or “Season 00” directory for it as well .
MakeMKV will help you sift through it to extract all those pieces
I ued a different program to convert the DVD into MP4
Please tell us the program you used and show us what you got out of it.
Not going to guess / suggest further without seeing the actual filenames given to PMS.

file names doesn’t matter it has ep01.mp4 ep02.mp4
They do matter!
Name as below, and do a Plex Dance after renaming

I really want it in my movies directory
It’s not a movie. It’s a TV MiniSeries.
You can add the file to a movie library, but you won’t get a “match” and thus no metadata.
Because Plex does only know about a tv show by that title.
It looks like disc 1 contains episodes 1 and 2, while disc 2 has the third episode.
If you don’t want to split the file from disc 1 (which would be easy to do if the chapter markers have been preserved during the ripping process), I recommend you to name the two files as such:
/TV Shows
/Rose Red (2002)
/Season 01
Rose Red (2002) - S01E01-E02.mp4
Rose Red (2002) - S01E03.mp4
