Bit of a layman please bear with me.
after the last update my WD My Cloud cant be seen by plex. windows detects it and i can access files on it through VLC.
i have tried to access it on various devices but no joy.
Any help appreciated

I have the same issue, can see all the files and play them on my phone but Plex server currently unavailable… Please help it’s been 3 days, have rebooted the fire TV stick and the wd my cloud
I think this is the problem I am having.
I have just bought a My Cloud EX2 and I am having problems setting it up.
I have installed the Plex server app but when I go to configure it gives me the message
" No soup for you!
The server you’re trying to access doesn’t want to let you in. Make sure you’re signed in as a user with access to this server."
I am new to Plex and have an account and have managed to run the server on Windows PC but dont want to have it running all the time, hence getting the My Cloud.
I desperately need some help!!!
Having spend many hours trying to find an answer it would seem that the server is seen as an authorised device and shows as " Plex for Smart TVs". I am however unable to add any folders to access the movies etc that are available on the shares on the My Cloud EX2 Ultra.
It is disappointing that I am unable to find any help over this issue. I have tried to get some help from WD but so far nothing. I did come across the mention of changing something in one the application system files which was a suggested workaround but cant remember where that was and I think that was applicable to setups on equipment that allowed access to the server software installation. I dont know if that would be available for the WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra.
I must say that I am disappointed that it would appear that Plex server is an option on the My Cloud EX2 Ultra but so far my experience suggests that that is not true. I live in hopes that there is a solution somewhere!
Similar issues here. I’m accessing both my WD NAS drives through Apple TV. Both are running fine on my network, but the app stopped communicating with both drives on all Apple TV devices. It calls for updating the server(s) but can’t find an update, and then says no connection. Next step is to uninstall, then re-install the app, but then it says that I will loose all data: does that mean I will have to re-install all my content one item at a time?
Also I added a new EX2 Ultra, installed the app, but again it doesn’t show on the Apple TV app.
