Plex Casting won't control audio anymore

I have my home work PC (player version: 1.40.1.2823-6f60f3a7) connected to a really nice audio source throughout my loft. When I’m in other parts of the place, I usually enable Plex on my phone to Cast to the PC. This still works…

But what doesn’t work is the audio control. Until a couple weeks ago, I could control the audio on the Windows Plex with the audio buttons in the side of my Samsung S-21. Now, Nothing. I’ve tried changing settings in the phone but that doesn’t help either and I don’t see anything in settings for the Plex or the phone that would make it work.

Is this a Plex problem? An Android update problem? A Samsung problem?

Like I mentioned, it worked flawlessly until about 2 weeks ago.

Same on iOS. Annoying reduction in functionality.

It’s the exact reason I use the app. So I can control the music from anywhere in my space. I thought it might have been the last update to Android but if you’re having it on IOS, it’s definitely in the plex app.

It’s working for me again. May have been the last update to PLEX.Mobile
My mobile now has version 8.29.1.30697
Server is now version 1.25.5.5492 (though I doubt that’s what fixed it)

I don’t know if they fixed it on iOS, I hope so!
