Hey @chuckpa I am having this issue now also. My server should just be called ‘plexvideo’.
Log entry appears to line up:
Oct 04, 2020 00:36:51.880 [0x7fac92de2700] ERROR - CERT: Could not fetch certificate from the cloud: 404
Oct 04, 2020 00:36:51.903 [0x7fac995d4700] DEBUG - CERT: incomplete TLS handshake: sslv3 alert certificate revoked
I have also tried your initial posts steps of removing the server from plex.tv, rebooting the server, and letting it automatically repopulate into plex.tv as being a server.

@ChuckPa I believe I am having the same issues as others.
Which server pleaes? Media Server or plexmediaserver_1
Do you see the ‘404’ or fetching error in the logs?
Plexmediaserver. I am not sure exactly how to view the logs. Today went I tried to play something I am getting error: an error occurred while attempting to play this video please check your connection and try again. I get this on all media file I try to play.
The easiest thing to do is
- Settings - Server - General - Show Advanced
- Make certain DEBUG logging is enabled and VERBOSE logging is disabled (unchecked). SAVE if you changed anything
- Restart the server
- Start the playback
- Stop when it fails
- Settings - Server - Troubleshooting - Download Logs
- Attach that ZIP
