Plex server 1.32.3.7089 + Hdhr quadro flex. Some channels are playing for around 4-5 seconds then plex client app is restarting ( nvidia shield pro 2019, 3 phones, all make the same). Also the channel are remaining stuck in recording after app restart.
The bug is from last plex client update 9.23.0… On 9.21.3 (tablet) everything works perfectly.
Tested with Jellyfin, VLC and everything play perfect. Same channels what’s keep crashing on plex client
For sure the issue is from plex 9.23.0 app. But like always no answer from plex on support email, no answer on plex forum.
I will add an video with issue. Phones have plex 9.23.0 app and the tablet have 9.21.3. Strange is not all the live tv channels fails. For example in the video can be seen that Discovery works on the phone without problems, but when I try to play Viasat, the app it goes crazy.
And yes I can confirm that the problem is from plex client 9.23.0. I’ve downgraded to 9.21.3(I hope is an safe source from where I grab the apk file) on all my devices and everything works again.
