Hello. I wander if anybody can help me. I have a QNAP TS453A. I have a huge collection of original films on Blu-ray and DVD. It has taken me time to research the best way of transferring films to the plex and the best settings to use to generate films without any quality loss or at least minimal loss. Im using Handbrake to transcode. Once the films are on the NAS which at the moment is about 25 out of 1500! so a long way to go. When im adding films to Plex using a PC I can then watch them on various TVs around the house but the Plex client on each TV which is basically the Plex App, is very basic and not the same as the PC. My question is can I install a Plex Client on the NAS so that the Plex user interface is more detailed like on my PC, in other words so that from each TV I can actually look for films in for example alphabetical order or Genre. Im sure there is a simple answer to this so sorry for being stupid. This is new to me! Thank you in advance, oh and also thanks for everybody’s help up to now. I appreciate it.
No, we do not have a Plex client that will run on a NAS. Besides, that won’t help. Your TV would not use this client.

You can already do this with the regular Plex for Smart TV app.
Hi, thanks for your reply. Are you saying that i can view films on the standard plex app in alphabetical order? I cant see this at all.
Yes. The default view is to list movies by the title in alphabetical order. It does do this up/down thing because there are 2 rows, but it’s in order.
is this a screen shot from your TV app
Your best option is to use a decent client on each TV e.g. Roku, Amazon Fire TV 4K with MrMC
