i have the latest pms aqnd latest pmp installed when i go to use pms on my tv i get disconnect from to remote server. when i press connect it will for a few seconds and then disconnect. i find it odd since i just installed kubuntu 19.10 and installed, setup, and ran plex pms on bothe the system and tv without issue. modem is setup correctly, i know cause like i said i had plex connected to my system via the modem just a couple of days ago. any ideas on what might be going on? thanks
There’s a big thread on reddit right now. Tons of people stated experiencing this yesterday.
so i"m right it’s not on my end then? can you please post the link for the thread on reddit? i hate site search engines, cayse they typically don’t give you what you were looking for. thanks
how about someone actually answer the questions in my last post, thanks
again please answer my one post. thanks

just went to reddit and not finding the thread you’re referring to.
two threads on reddit, none here that i can see, and NOTHING indicating the dev’s are looking into the issue.
Towards the bottom of the following sticky is an example of the items needed to debug your issue.
If you’re not happy with an update, roll back to the previous version that worked.
would like to rollback to the last version but finding it out there has been a royal pain. i have asked here and on reddit for a link to previous versions.
Any chance it stored an old copy in your directory structure?
Do you know which version worked last? 1.17 or maybe 1.16?
I can dig up the complete version number from the announcements.
1.18.1.1944 worked. i’d like to have a copy of it and the previous one. no there wouldn’t be a copy hidden in my file system cause i use the deb files and just run the new one and it overwrites the old files.
BUMP

Keeping past package files, for just such a case, is a good idea.
Can you remind us of the exact filename that was used for his server please? That’s where we are stuck. I think he’ll be able to google one then.
He said “I use the deb files” and he’s looking for 1.18.1.1944.
Thanks.
there is no 1.18.1.1944.
There was: 1.18.0.1944-f2cae8d6b
then post a link to it, and don’t chastise peeps for a simple typo. 0 instead of 1 ESPECIALLY when you knew what i meant.
that thinking only works if you’re going to do it for every program you have a copy of. that’s a lot of space to waste.
