Plex content missing in Sonos app and Sonos speakers missing in Plexamp

Hello everyone,

I am experiencing a sudden connectivity issue between my Sonos system and my Plex server, which is running on a Synology NAS.

The Problem:

1. Sonos App: No content from my Plex server is being displayed anymore.

2. Plexamp App: My Sonos speakers are no longer appearing as an option for audio output.

Timeline: Everything was working perfectly on Sunday, January 25, 2026. However, as of Monday, January 26, 2026, the integration stopped working. I have made no changes to the configuration of my network, NAS, or apps during this time.

Troubleshooting steps already taken (with no success):

- I have reconnected the Plex service within the Sonos app.

- I have restarted the Plex Media Server.

- I have restarted the entire Synology NAS.

Current Settings:

- Remote Access is confirmed as activated in the Plex settings.

- Plex Relay is activated.

- UPnP is activated in the Sonos app settings.

System Information & Versions:

- Sonos Operating System: S2, Version 80.35.4-release+20251204.7b798cc2.2

- Plexamp: Version v4.12.4 (with React Native V0.72.15).3

- Plex Web: Version 4.147.1.

- Plex Media Server: Installed Version: 1.42.2.10156-720010156.

Does anyone have an idea why this integration would fail so suddenly without any manual changes? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Anyway : did you try a restart of sonos speakers ?

Yep i’m seeing the same here, no content shown when going to Plex in the Sonos app and the entries I have pinned to my Sonos home screen (plex recently added) are no longer showing either. And Plexamp does not show my sonos speakers.

As a side note, I use Music Assistant which still allows me to cast from plexamp to sonos so it does look to be an intergration issue.

Ouch, so not the only one… happened last night , no changes to my system , all content from plex is now unable to be loaded , and no content items available message receive; even paid 1 week of plex pass , no solution.

Restarted all sonos devices , router , nas , re auth the integration , removed , restarted , nothing ;

I wonder if this is related?

Just tried to login via web , and i see all , so only sonos seems to be affected on my side
