I have the latest Apple TV OS/Plex server versions available. I just got the HDHomeRun Connect Quatro yesterday and setup went smoothly. I have Plex Pass so I opened up the app and clicked record on a live show but Plex crashed and went back to the Apple TV home screen without recording. I tried multiple times with the same results. Rebooted, deleted DVR and readded, and waited until it was finished scanning/downloading the guide. Same thing happens every time when I try to record a live channel on all 3 of my Apple TV’s. Setting up a future recording works fine.
I opened Plex on my PC in a browser and hit record and it correctly asks where to save the recording and starts and shows up and plays fine in the Apple TV app so it seems limited to initiating a recording on the Apple TV. Anyone having this? Since this is my first day with a tuner I have no history of the functionality.
