Plex decided 3 different shows with completely different paths are actually the same show. HELP!

For some reason, Plex Media Server decided that 3 different shows, with different names and different paths are all actually the SAME show. When this happens to a movie, I can just tell it to split the files and fix the incorrect match - which I haven’t found for TV show episodes.

I’d much appreciate any help on this matter.

Does you TV Show library point to X:\Media or X:\Media\TV? It should be the latter.

It appears to be keying on S01E04 in the titles, as if the agent is not supplying any data it appears Plex is matching by similarities (seen this in odd SQL database queries). It does not appear the TVDB is selected in the screen capture which would supply data, also if you go to edit the library>> advanced is there a TV agent listed in the agent box?

Hey - If you look closely you can see that TVDB is selected, it’s just greyed out as I can not uncheck it (which I wouldn’t want to anyway).
This is the result when clicking Edit Library → Advanced

I also tried to force a refresh or all metadata and it still pairs them the same way.

The TV Shows library points to X:\Media\TV - unchanged from last week when it correctly detected Once Upon a Time, American Dad and The Americans (2013) as separate series.
