For more than a year, cloud sync has been completely broken. Yet it has still been advertised as a “perk” of paying for a plex pass. I am sure many people decided to purchase said plex pass due to this feature in some way or another, I know I did.
Now, here’s what I’m wondering. Out of the millions of tears (posts and threads) shed over cloud sync begging the Plex Gods to have mercy how many of these threads have gotten a reply? I obviously haven’t looked over every single post. However, from the significant number of posts I’ve been following over the past year I can’t say I’ve ever seen an official reply from a Plex Developer. Not even an acknowledgement saying that it’s a known issue.
Plex Gods, I beseech thee please have mercy and give us the product we paid for, as advertised.
I would submit a ticket/support request demanding a refund stating that they misrepresented/falsely advertised their product (which I believe is illegal at least in US law, and plex is a US company so…). But, sadly you probably will just get that silent cold shoulder from support as well. But only because, you mentioned the forbidden words “cloud sync”
Also don’t let this thread get buried like all the others! That way the plex devs won’t be able to just ignore this thread until it dies like they did for the hundreds of other ones!
