Plex does not see my PR4100 NAS

PR4100 Firmware 5.22.113
Plex media server version running on PR4100: 1.27.0.5897

When i load up my plex it does not show my PR4100.
Tried to reinstall. Nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Both the client and server still signed in with your Plex account?
If you e.g. reset your password and opt to sign-out all devices, this will also unlink the Plex Media Server from your account (hence no longer automatically showing in your apps).

Solved the issue.

  1. Even though i was uninstalling Plex media server from my PR4100 i needed to login via ssh to remove files that were not being uninstalled.

I once again uninstalled Plex media server

I then followed directions here to ssh and manually delete left over files:

Once i manually deleted the files via ssh and rebooted.

I then enabled My Cloud and added Google DNS.

I then reinstalled Plex media Server and configured and it worked.

I hope this will helps anyone else having this issue.
