Plex does not show rating in music library

Server Version#: 1.16.3.1402
Player Version#: 3.104.2

Hi,

I had to recreate my music library as no metadata was to be downloaded. Building up the new music library went ok, including the import of my iTunes playlists and other metadata. Unfortunately, in the client on my PC (but also on my iPad) I cannot see the music scores of my songs in the music library view. However, if I click on the song, then I can see the music score. I can even filter on music score and get all 5-star songs in the music library view.

How can I make the scores visible in the music library view? I already restarted Plex. Thanks for your help!

Change the Library mode to “Tracks”:

Then set the View to List View (may be the default if you’ve never changed it).

Then add the ‘Rating’ column to the display:

Thanks for your reply. I switched already to music library mode - track view. Below are my settings (although in Dutch). It still does not show the scores/ratings.

Hmm, not sure what might be causing that. It’s working correctly for me. I notice my web app version is newer (3.108.2), but I haven’t seen reports of this being a problem.

Hopefully a Ninja will step in.

I searched a little further, it seems related to this issue.: Music rating doesn't work in latest Plex versions

Apparently, the bug appears with basic music libraries. I checked my setting and I probably created a basic music library. Trying to recreate the music library, I noticed that I cannot create a Plex Premium Music library, while I have a valid Plex pass.

And then I looked a little further and noticed this message: Important information regarding Premium Music libraries in Plex

Seems that I have to wait for a while.

Good to know. My libraries are Premiums, so that explains why I don’t see the problem.
