I am running Plex from a Raspberry Pi, which is working perfectly, apart from with one or two TV Shows.
For example, Mr Robot does not display correctly: Plex only shows 1 episode from the first season, and 2 from the next. I have named the folders and files EXACTLY as recommended in the guide. i.e. Media/TV Shows/Mr. Robot/Mr. Robot S01E01.mp4
I have tried renaming the files, renaming the folders, updating the library, restarting the server, completely disconnecting Plex and restarting the entire process of setting up my server, from scratch. I am yet to find a solution.
Other shows that aren’t working are Breaking Bad and Narcos. These are also named in accordance to the guide.
What should I do? Thanks, Harry.
SOLVED:
I have seen a lot of people with this issue, but no-one seemed to find a solution. Here is what I did:
-Having tried everything, and put in a good 4 hours of work, I simply deleted the TV Shows library from Plex.
-I then made a copy of the troublesome shows on another hard drive and deleted them from the server.
-Head over to Plex and re-add the library. Let all the metadata load etc.
-Ensuring that everything is named perfectly (in accordance to Plex’s guide), put the TV Shows back on the server.
-Update the library on Plex if it hasn’t done so automatically - voila!
All the shows/episodes that were troublesome now work perfectly. I still don’t know what caused the problem, but this is how to fix it.
A procedure called the Plex Dance is necessary after you fixed filenames due to ‘mismatches’.

Hi Otto. Maybe the ‘plex Dance’ could help me with another issue I’m having. I just sent some movies over to the HDD the Pi uses for Plex, but the films aren’t showing up in Plex… So i tried rebooting the Pi - no luck. Then I tried the ‘Plex Dance’ and that didn’t help either. What would you recommend?
