I’m running a Plex server on OpenMediaVault (using Docker) and have had no issues for months but for some reason now any new file I add (movie or TV show) will download metadata and posters but set the poster to a random screenshot from the video. I have to click edit and change the poster myself (they’re all downloaded, just don’t auto change).
I’ve tried moving Local Media Assets to bottom priority for all agents, disabling IPv6, optimizing database and cleaning bundles, and clearing cache but nothing has fixed it.
I’ve attached logs and screenshots to show what’s happening. Please help!
I’m just confused because this has never been an issue before and this isn’t a new library so it shouldn’t take so long. How can i check if it’s still in the middle of this process?
I’m asking and researching myself. I actually suspect an improvement for TheTVDB has had unexpected impact on TMDB. How or Why? I haven’t a clue because they aren’t even connected in the software from what I can see.
Anyone else got any ideas? I’ve left Frozen for 24 hours now and it still hasn’t changed. Could it be something to do with firewall or something? Nothings changed on my end so not sure why it would be but really stumped on this.
After finding this thread (Not refreshing movie posters) I tried reverting back to 1.18.2.2041-3d469cb32 which fixed the issue! Hopefully Plex will be able to figure out what is in the new updates causing this issue.
