I’ve had issues ever since DVR was released where I cannot reliably get recordings to work. I’ve always had to go back to HDHR DVR which works 100% of the time.
You’ll see in the screen recording that I am trying to schedule to record NCIS New Orleans, however it does not let me. It displays in my recording priority that it is there, but tonight’s episode does not display in the Recordings screen.
I loaded up all my shows to record Monday and then none of the shows Monday night got recorded. Looking back at the Recordings screen, they were not listed under Monday. So I decided to wait for Tuesday night’s shows to record since I did see them all there. Now looking at Recordings, several are missing and as I mentioned, I cannot add them in. The only thing that does work is to manually record a single episode (like I did for NCIS).
Other the years I’ve completely removed all my tuners and re-added them several times each time to try and test Plex DVR, which I did recently again.
I have The Price Is Right set to record every day and that appears to always work. So not sure what is going on and what I can do to try and troubleshoot.
Hi, My Plex server was / is doing same thing. Noticed in guide programs were 1 week in advance of recordings. That is, in “recordings” programs would list as mar 10 instead of mar 3. So, that was why no recordings I think. I tried to re-install Plex, only to find when configuring Live TV and DVR, once entering the zip code, the “continue” button stayes “greyed out”. So, No Plex.
Hi, Don’t know it this will help but it’s worth a try. I couldn’t get past the zip code while resetting DVR. Then I thought after reinstalling, where is this coming from. So for the fun of it, I tried a different browser, instead of firefox I used edge and boom! The continue button was there. So, try a different browser see if that helps. I don’t know how the config stuff is saved, but at least I can get the zip code/guide problem fixed
Well, I had just about given up. Then after reinstalling I thought, where’s this coming from? Cookies? I tried a different browser, edge instead of firefox. It worked. Don’t know if it will fix the problem, but it’s worth a try.
I have LateShow Colbert scheduled as a series. But Wed and Thurs are omitted. I checked the Guide and Wed and Thurs are there and scheduled. But they don’t show up in the “recordings” view.
