Plex DVR stopped recording series

Server Version#: 1.13.8.5395 on Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS

I am transitioning to a new server, and this new server won’t record TV shows. It will record anything that is a single episode. But when I tell it to record “All Episodes,” it will show episodes within this week, excluding today. If I wait 24 hours, the shows for the current day again disappear from the record schedule and it will only show episodes for the next day. Nothing I have told it to record “All Episodes” of is appearing in my library. Does anyone know why? I uploaded my logs for reference. Plex Media Server Logs_2018-10-05_19-43-11.zip (3.5 MB)

Same problem running PMS on WinServer 2016 with an HDHomeRunHD.

Same problem here. This issue started up a few days ago. Most notably after I had tried to modify the “Recording Priority” order of the recordings. Not sure if that is related. Here is link to my log file (On google drive. Let me know if I should use a different hosting service).

I have no clue what I need to search for in the logs. I currently have a bunch of recording scheduled, but they were all created individually. Should I create a few “sample” recording attempts, output the log and re-upload?

I have read that thread. I disabled all my channels, refreshed the guide, added them back, and refreshed the guide again. That didn’t resolve anything. I did it again tonight, and noticed that even when I had all channels disabled, they still all showed up in the guide…maybe they didn’t actually disable? The only other thing I can figure out to try is to delete my DVR, but that means I lose all scheduled recordings as well.

Oh, and I have deleted my scheduled recordings and re-created them multiple times, that doesn’t resolve it. And I have them set to record All Episodes, New and Repeat Airings, Any Resolution, Allow partial airings, Any channel, any airing time, Keep All Episodes, record 0 minutes before and 0 minutes after. Some of them have “Remove Commercials” enable,d some disabled.

I got it working!! I had to delete my whole DVR. I did that, added it back, and all my shows magically came back and started recording properly!

I celebrated too soon. After deleting and re-adding my whole DVR, most shows are recording properly, but there are still a few that aren’t. :man_facepalming:

I had a different issue. My season recording was for an unknown reason stopped 13 minutes into the show. I know my PC was fine due that I did complete my download that I left running overnight. But now that I want to manually create a recording to get the missed episode It wont let me. It is forcing me to change from new to all episodes. I really do not want to record 10 episodes to get to the one I need. Where is the manual recording option that is in TIVO and Windows Media Server?
