Plex fails to add new files to library

Player Version#:5.27.3
Added a new file to my movies library. When I did a scan on the library the movie was not cataloged to my library. Both files have similar file names however one contains the text “Part 1” and the other contains the text “Part 2”. Part 1 was cataloged fine, however, “Scan Library Files” does not add Part 2 to the library. Both of these files are in the same folder on my Synology NAS. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try and change Part 1 and Part 2 to pt1 and pt2 on your files as per Naming and Organizing Your TV Show Files | Plex Support
