Unable to recognise new media

I have been uploading my movies to my Synology NAS and using Plex for over 6 months. I usually upload to my movies folder on my NAS and I have Plex set to auto scan, but sometimes I manual scan for new files too. All of a sudden as of yesterday, when I add new files Plex wont add them until I go in and make a change to the file name. Even just a small change like removing an underscore or adding an underscore. It used to pick up everything without any changes being made. Now in order to get it to add anything I have to make just a small change to the name, any change at all.

What is going on??? Is anyone else having this issue???

Interesting.
I know there are naming conventions for it to help it find files easier.
But as I said, I can still have a random file name and it will pick it up as long as I make one small change to it, any change at all. So this doesn’t actually solve my issue. I used the correct naming conventions and it still didn’t work when I created the file. Once I renamed it to an unconventional name it worked.
