I have bought a new Samsung 65" QN85A 4k Neo tv and i thought i try PLEX after hearing good things. I was about to buy it when i saw i can test it free first but i have issues. I have created a map in my computer and i have added movies ands tv shows. I have no problem playing the movies on the tv but the tv shows PLEX dosnt even find. ON the Samsung tv i can se all the moveis and watch them but i cant see the episodes even though they are added to the same folder as the movies. They are in .mkv format.
I’ll also add that movies and tv shows cannot be shared in the same library type. You need 1 for movies and 1 for tv shows. This is very important as plex will ignore/skip stuff which does not belong in a library type.
No i did not. I have now and it seems to work. I would have liked it the easy way and been able to put everything in the same folder but hey, who am i to question that. I guess it`s made more professional that my head look at it and it looks good so. Thx for the help.
