Everything works correctly from other devices. But if I try to play any content from Fire TV stick it crashes and restarts
I am having the same problem. Every time I try to play a video from Plex TV and Movies I see a redish orange screen with a spinning circle for about 20 seconds and then the fire tv stick reboots. How can i install an older version of plex that still works? I am also having trouble on my Samsung smart TV with the latest release of Plex. See my thread in smart TV’s. FYI everything works great on a laptop through a browser on the same network.

What app version is this? I used my Fire Stick last night and content played fine.
Try downgrading to v6.12 of the Plex client. Better yet, switch to Jellyfin or Emby.

I’ve seen that it only happens with the files that take up more space
I have solved it.
As Voth24 said, I have downloaded version 6.12 and everything has worked correctly.

I have the same problem. playback is fine with the Windows App but it almost immediately crashes the FireTV. Rather than going backwards can we have an update ASAP please.
