Plex for Windows is showing me a (non dismissable) notice that Plex will be removed from the Chrome Web Store. Since this is expired, and I’m using the Plex for windows app (probably a web wrapper), it feels unnecessary, and is especially annoying since I can’t close it.
The current release of Plex for Windows is version 1.11.0 – therefore I suspect you’re talking about a different client – not quite sure which one as I don’t recognize the screenshot.
If that is Plex Media Player version 2.12 you seriously should consider updating it (that version is almost 2 years old; current release is 2.58). If you’re using PMP in windows / desktop mode you might however want to consider installing the Plex for Windows app instead. Both apps can be downloaded here:

I found out I actually was using the chrome web store app. I had recently installed the plex for windows app, so assumed that was what I was using, but start menu was actually opening the chrome app. Deleted the chrome web store app, and now I’m on plex for windows.
Sorry for that, stupid mistake on my part!
