I have been running Plex for a couple of years without issue. It recently failed to load, so I downloaded the latest version and now it has all crumbled down and I can get it working at all. I am using a Mac Mini as my server and I am running everything through that, but it cannot find the local drive.
I have spent hours and tried all of the troubleshooting guides I could find and completely unistalling it and reinstalling it, to no avail. Any assistance to get this running again would be greatly appreciated

Hey sorry to hear you’re stumped. Recently there have been a lot of issues with older Macs like my 2018 Mini running 10.14.6. The current version of PMS doesn’t work on those, and a fix is in progress.
You should copy your PMS database folder that also has your backups to a safe place.
They are stored on the Mac in
~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases
To get running again
You can do a complete uninstall, then install known working 1.28.2.6151. Fresh server.
You can do a complete uninstall, then install 1.28.2.6151 and restore backups possibly.
You can do a downgrade to 1.28.2.6151 and hope it comes back, possibly reclaiming.
Because you’ve done a lot, it’s harder to say, but (3) is the easiest. You reboot the Mac, and make sure PMS isn’t running, then you get the older version unzipped in Downloads, drag it into /Applications and Replace. Give it like 10min before trying to use it in case there’s a bunch of database migration going on.
In recent posts I’ve made for server-mac I gave versions, links, and more instructions, but I’d just be retyping things here and probably not as well. A couple of common words in these topics is Settings Unavailable.
Amazing. Thanks so much. I uninstalled it and reverted back to an old version of PMS i downloaded a couple of years ago and I have access again. Not sure why the newest version is not playing nice, but now it is working again I don’t really care
