The team has been actively working on this, and even when I donā€™t want to sound too optimistic it might be possible that next version of the app will contain a fix for this (it still needs further testing).

Same issue here with MI box. Seems related to sleep of the MI box(I dont really have a choice if I wanna use cec). Video seems unaffected. Streaming to say VLC on a computer seems to be no issue, so guessing/confirming its the android client/android implementation

For anyone having this issue, please tre the latest public release of 7.28.0. This should now be fixed. Please report back if you still experience the Shield not playing music after waking up. Plex for Android
