Plex hates Android (why???)

There are numerous issues with the Plex client for Android and they aren’t being addressed or acknowledged. Can someone please explain why the Android client is getting no love from Plex?

When you inspect the release notes for the Android client you’ll see that this is one of the most frequently updated clients in the whole Plex ecosystem

They are listed in the Android forum and no one is helping.

But if you want a few critical issues;

  1. Stops playing music that is sync’d unless the device is plugged in. (effects most Android 7.0 devices)
  2. Failing to sync anything more then a sample of media (eg fails to sync a few movies or 1000 songs). Numerous reports of this.
