Plex home screen is empty after re-install

Server Version#:4.147.1
Player Version#:
<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

I’m on a windows 11 PC. I’ve tried several times to re-install Plex Media Server. It appears the installer runs without issue. I am able to login into my user account. But in the middle of the screen it says.. Your home screen is empty. The left panel has orange triangles on my folders. What am i doing wrong?

Do you experience the same if you’re accessing your server through the bundled web app (e.g. http://127.0.0.1:32400/web if you’re on the same machine)?

Yes. Same as https://app.plex.tv/desktop. and http://127.0.0.1:32400/web

Based on your initial post, I assume this isn’t a new install but you just re-installed the server app in an attempt to “fix things”?
Are you signed into the same account you used to claim your server?

Correct not a new install, just a reinstall. Yes I think I am? I only have one account.

Do you see the server settings in the Settings section (not just those for your account and the web app)?
Any other/additional/duplicate libraries listed in the More section of the main navigation?

Yes, when I click on settings (the wrench) the left panel shows account, plex web and displays server name with a green lock icon. Under settings: General, it says my server is claimed. And under settings: it has my remote access with a green check mark.

Under More settings, it does not list duplicate libraries.

OK, I restored a backup copy of my PMS file. It works now. Question: On the left panel, under settings, I have Agents(Legacy) listed. I do not have Agents listed. Is that normal?

Yes. Plex announced that the legacy agents will go away at some point (probably now rather soon-ish). A lot of users kept tinkering with the Agent settings while using the modern Plex agents which are configured per library – I suppose they added the legacy suffix to the settings menu to avoid that confusion.
